Safwan Ullah Khan

Safwan Ullah Khan belongs to District Rawalpindi. He was born
on June 1, 1983. He completed his matriculation from Federal
Government Sir Syed School Rawalpindi in 1998 and then passed
his Intermediate from Government College in 2000. He has also
graduated from the same College in 2002. He got his MSc Degree
from Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi in 2005 and is
pursuing his M. Phil in Biology. He is also serving as a
researcher in the subject of biology. He has received two
educational scholarships and got a 3rd position in the HEC
inter-university debate competition in 2006. He is a member of
the Hamdard Foundation since 1996. He is also a member of
Daa’wah Academy and the Reader's Club. He is interested in

January 04, 1983. He passed his Matriculation in 2000 and his
Intermediate in 2002 and joined Preston University to get his
bachelors degree in Information Technology. Siaf Ullah Khan
has visited many countries including Turkey, Syria, Jordan and
the United Arab Emirates. Interested in youth affairs, Saif
Ullah has been part of an official Youth Delegation to China
in 2006. He is interested in Current Affairs, especially,
defence and strategic and political affairs with their
critical analysis. He likes music and to play guitar and his

November 24, 1984. She attended Army Public School Bahawalpur,
Iqra Army Public School Quetta and then completed secondary
education from Kehkahshan Army Public School Multan with
distinction. She obtained her intermediate degree in
pre-engineering from F.G Degree College Multan and got third
position in Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary
Education with a silver medal. She received her Bachelors of
Engineering (Honours) degree in Telecommunication from
National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) with a
third position in the University including a scholarship.
Active in extra-curricular activities as well, Saima Usman has
taken part in sports like athletics, baseball, badminton, etc.
She has also held portfolios as Student Counselor, House
Captain, and Prefect. |

Syed Ali Raza

Syed Ali Raza belongs to Lahore and he was born on April 26
1983. He completed his O'Levels and Intermediate from Crescent
Model Higher Secondary School. He completed his B.Sc. from
Government College University, Lahore. He is pursuing a LLB
degree at the Punjab University. He has represented his
academic institution at different regional and international
forums, including being member of the Trophy winning team in
Law Moot Competition, at Government Law College, Mumbai, India

apprenticeship at the Mujtaba Jamal Law Associates, Lahore. He
has possesses writing experiences as a sub-editor in the Daily

Islamabad. He is a student of BA\LLB at the Lahore University
of Management Sciences (LUMS). Active in extra-curricular
activities apart from his studies, Umair Javed as a junior at
LUMS was part of the Law & Politics Society's Constituent
Assembly that drafted the constitution for the society. He

Akhtar Muhammad Shah
belongs to Madeji, District Shikarpur. Born on 22nd Jul ’83,
Akhtar attended Public School Sukkur for 13 years, from grade
1 through to 12, before passing HSC from Sukkur Board while
securing First Position under seat no. 61030 in 2001. He
obtained bachelors Computer & Information Systems Engineering
from NED University Karachi in Jan 2006 with Distinction.
During his school & university life Akhtar remained active
both in academic and co-curricular activities earning Gold
Medal in Sindh School Games (1999), securing First Position in
All Pakistan English Essay Writing Contest (2000), remaining
captain of Sukkur Board hockey team (2001), getting gold
medals in athletics at university (2002-2006), playing hockey
at the national level (2004-2006), being merit scholarship
holder (2002-2006), serving as Member of Youth Parliament and
elected chairperson of Standing Committee on Culture, Sports &
Youth Affairs (2007). Akhtar has been working for Standard
Chartered Bank for last 5+ years where, presently, he is

for managing corporate bank’s credit portfolio to maximize
risk-adjusted return through better origination discipline,
portfolio optimization and asset distribution (CDS hedging,
single name distribution and structured distribution through
CLOs). Politically Akhtar is aligned to PPP; and, education,

Basil Nabi Malik

Basil Nabi Malik belongs to Karachi. He was born on October
16, 1984. Basil is pursuing his LLB from the Lahore University
of Management Sciences (LUMS). During his stay at LUMS, he has
undertaken many projects relating to law and politics owing to
his interest. In October 2006, he moderated and organised a
panel discussion on the status of the Northern Areas of
Pakistan. He was also a member of the constituent assembly
which created the constitution of the Law and Politics Society
at LUMS. He has also worked on problems relating to religious
minorities. |
