Question 1: Will the Minister of Youth Affairs, Youth Parliament be pleased to find out from the Ministry of Youth Affairs how many members of the current National Assembly of Pakistan who were less than 30 years of age when they  were elected as members of Parliament were men and how many were women?

“This house is of the opinion that the possession of nuclear weapons by the United States is a great threat to the world peace, as it is feared that these weapons might fall into the hands of the extremists, who would use them to attack the holy cities of the Muslims; the UN and IAEA should make the US roll back on its nuclear program.”

“This House is of the opinion that the effective enforcement of the Supreme Court Judgment (1999 SCMR 1379) which directed the Federation to take appropriate steps to ensure the right of self-rule and independent judiciary in Northern Areas of Pakistan should be done without delay. After the passage of more than eight years, Northern Areas are still being governed by the Federal Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Northern Areas and the elected representatives and judiciary in Northern Areas have been made subservient to non-elected officials. This is in stark contravention to fundamental human rights of the inhabitants of Northern Areas. The House demands that Northern Areas be given definite constitutional recognition to safeguard the rights of their inhabitants and in the national interest of Pakistan.”
